There are countdowns everywhere, there are list of newsmakers, top sports events, top everything in 2008, so I’ve been thinking… what did happen in my 2008?

The highlight has to be travel. I have visited places I’ve always dreamt of visiting this year. I’ve definitely tapped the top of my dream destinations list. I did travel a lot, about 22,000 miles in figures. Come to think of it I almost trailed the circumference of earth.

I cracked my coin bank from college to help me buy my camera. Money well spent!

Kittens! Lots of kittens and the joys and heartbreaks of having them. The joys are pretty obvious, it’s just so much fun. Too bad we cannot take care of them all, so we had to let go of some of them. It felt like giving away my own children. Plus, late this year we had a puppy who now thinks he’s a cat.

I realized that I just couldn’t let Physics go, and I think my reason for living is slowly unfolding itself. I think.

Strange enough I wasn’t able to finish a book this year. Not even one book. I did start reading some great books, but never finished them. I usually finish a book within a week, and even stranger I found myself just re-reading my old books. Hmmm weird weird…

I also did have lots of bratty moments, and I think I know why. Had lots of lethargic times and well, I still have little self-discipline.

I’ve met one of the most wonderful people this year too.

My hand me down pick-up truck grew on me and I love it so much now.

I’m sure I left out a lot of happenings… but I felt it was a great year for my family and me.

All in all 2008 was fun. Not very productive on my part.. but fun, interesting year.

I bid farewell to 2008 and I thank God for all the blessings it brought to us and I welcome 2009 with high hopes. Hopes that each and every one of us realizes our passion, our purpose.
